DILI, East Timor, May 5, 2008 (IPS) -- The leader of the group of renegades accused of attempting to assassinate East Timor’s President Jose Ramos-Horta on Feb. 11 has surrendered, but there is still little sign of how the nation’s 600 army deserters may be peacefully reincorporated.
